Open the UTM code you want to edit by clicking on it. You can also open the UTM code by clicking on the arrow next to the code. Next you will see the options to edit the UTM code. Below you can read more about how to use the functions and what the consequences are.
The options to edit a UTM code:

Delete
Click on ‘Delete’ to permanently remove the UTM code from UTM Star.
Points of attention when deleting:
- The UTM code (URL with parameters) will continue to work. So if it is still in use, the data remains visible in Google Analytics.
- The shortened URL will no longer work and the visitor will no longer be forwarded.
- The QR code can still be scanned, but the underlying reference no longer works.
- A deleted UTM code, cannot be restored.
Duplicate
- Open the UTM code
- Click on ‘duplicate
When you click on ‘duplicate’ the UTM code generator appears. It contains exactly the same values as the original code. You can now make adjustments here. - Save the UTM code
Move
- Open the UTM code
- Click on ‘edit’ to edit the UTM code
- If multiple projects are present, you can move the UTM code by selecting another project
- Then save the UTM code
